Bangalore Higher Education Society
History
In 1942, a group of visionary educationists, administrators, and philanthropists established the BHS Managing Committee, which was officially registered as a non-profit organization with a steadfast commitment to the advancement of education.
The Mission
The core objective of the BHS Higher Education Society is to attain educational excellence. They define education as a three-part process: knowing what you want, knowing where to acquire it, and knowing how to utilize it effectively. By achieving this goal, the organization aims to be a leading force in empowering individuals, advancing society, and promoting diverse human endeavours.
Objective:
The BHS Higher Education Society aims to create a learning environment that caters to the present and future needs of both individuals and organizations. Their programs blend traditional higher education with innovative concepts to prepare students to meet the demands of a diverse community and a complex society. The focus goes beyond developing skills and preparing for professions; it also emphasizes the importance of personal growth and a well-rounded life. In essence, education should be seen as an adornment during times of prosperity and a refuge during adversity.
